What should I wear for my headshot?
Wear solid colors and simple patterns that do not distract from your face. Choose clothing that reflects your professional or personal brand—business attire for corporate profiles or styles that match your creative or acting work.
Avoid large logos, busy prints, or overly bright colors. For an In-Studio session bring additional outfits for more variety during your session.
Can you come to me?
Yes — I offer on-location headshot sessions throughout the San Antonio area. I can bring a portable studio setup to your home or office.
How many images do I need?
Most professionals only need a small number of strong, polished images. For LinkedIn, company profiles, personal marketing. One or two images are usually enough.
Actors, creatives, and entrepreneurs may benefit from additional looks for different roles or uses.
A focused set of high-quality images is usually more useful than dozens of similar shots.
How long will it take to get my photos?
You will review and select your preferred images immediately after your session.
In-Studio and Individual On-Site sessions: same-day delivery.
Pop-Up sessions: delivery within 24 hours.
Corporate sessions: delivery within 2–3 business days.
Final retouched images are delivered through an online gallery.
Why can't I just use my phone?
Phone cameras are useful for everyday photos, but a professional headshot depends on more than the camera. Lighting, posing, expression coaching, lens choice, and retouching all contribute to a polished result.
A professional headshot is created specifically for LinkedIn, company websites, casting profiles, and personal branding.
Why don't I just use AI?
AI-generated images can look convincing, but they often lack authenticity and genuine human expression. A professional headshot captures real personality, confidence, and connection in a way synthetic images still struggle to replicate.

Purely AI-generated images may also have limited copyright protection, which can create uncertainty about ownership and commercial use.
I'm uncomfortable in front of the camera, is that OK?
Absolutely. Most people are not comfortable in front of a camera at first. I guide you through posing and expression so you never have to figure out what to do or feel like you need to perform.
The goal is to create a relaxed experience that helps you look natural, confident, and approachable.
What does retouching include?
Retouching is natural and polished, including temporary blemishes, minor distractions, skin cleanup, and color correction while keeping you recognizable.
How do I choose my final images?
Typically, the best 5 images will be presented to you. You will review your images after the session and select your favorites before final retouching begins.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A 50% nonrefundable retainer is required to reserve an In-Studio or Individual On-Site session. The remaining balance is due by the session date.
